Greeneville 15, Cherokee 0
The Greeneville baseball team beat Cherokee 15-0 on Thursday to stay perfect in District 2-3A play.
The Greene Devils pounded out 18 hits in the win. Colton Richards went 2-for-4 with two home runs. Eli House 2-for-2 with a home run and four RBIs. Parker Shipley was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs. Carson Norris went 3-for-3 with three runs scored. Maddox Bishop was 3-for-4 with two runs scored, and Noah Murray was 2-for-4.
On the mound Richards tossed a five-inning complete game. He struck out eight, walked none and allowed two hits.
SOFTBAL
Cocke County 17, Greeneville 1
The Greeneville softball team fell to Cocke County 17-1 on Thursday.
Lydia Darnell earned the Lady Devils lone hit of the night and Kyla Jobe scored the lone run.
Jamie Jackson took the loss in the circle. She threw 1 2/3 innings with five hits allowed, one walk and no strikeouts. Brynlee Jones threw the final two innings with two strikeouts, four walks and five hits allowed.

West Greene 9, Cosby 0
The West Greene soccer team earned a 9-0 win over Cosby on Thursday.
Nic Horner and Hunter Gregg both earned hat tricks for the Buffaloes while Ben Johnson, Baraka Bliss and Matthew Gomez Jr. all scored goals. In goal Gregg and Kaden Gallogly split the clean sheet.
